Friends of the Corridor are our supporters and our core community. You believe that local food matters, that economic opportunities for all are important, and that food has an important role in the livability of all of Raleigh’s neighborhoods.
You bring energy to our events, and you are building food projects and new connections of your own. Your one-time financial support will help us keep the wheels turning in organizing, connecting, and building this vision.
There are several types of membership available through Friends of the Corridor. With any membership, you are actively supporting a more awesome city and a healthier, more inclusive food system. Pick the one that best applies to you. All fees are one-time unless otherwise specified.

Where your money goes:
By showing your support for the corridor, you are strengthening the local food system. In addition to supporting our Corridor operations, your contribution goes towards projects that build gardens, food awareness, food access, healthy lifestyles and more.
- Raleigh Food Corridor and Second Saturday staffing (50%) (coordination, management, outreach, communication)
- Marketing (10%) (design and materials)
- Food system project grants (15%) (would include installations)
- Administration and Overhead (15%) (includes fiscal sponsor 5% fee)
- Member benefits (10%)
The contributions will be accepted by Community Development Studio, our 501c3 fiscal sponsor. The available funds then move to Community Food Lab, a Raleigh-based LLC, to be used to develop the Corridor. Community Food Lab is a founder of the Raleigh Food Corridor concept, is the engine behind its early development, and now serves as the backbone organization working with the Leadership Council to move the project forward.
